Sn@tch is a store that is well known mainly for goth, urban and alternative clothings. But Ivey Deschanel is a talented and eclectic designer, she masters perfectly many styles, including some of my favourites, like hippie, boho and vintage. Furthermore, her prices are more than generous: items are sold in fatpacks only, the average price is 250L. A neverending sale!

Second Life against my finds!

Together with RL commitments, Second Life is trying to kill me. I had been planning a post about some interesting deals, but this evil game first ate 10k items from my inventory, then didn't rezz textures in whatever place I went to take pics, and in the end decided not to attach and detach stuff. I logged off with an awful headache and with only a couple of poor pics, a small part of what I had in my mind. Hopefully I'll show you something more tomorrow, if the deals are still there and the game's performances go back to a decent level.

Mishio Zuzu, designer of The Candary, a very interesting new store (to me at least), dropped on me her opening deal and the awesome gown she is selling. Her work really hit me, I appreciated a lot the softness of the skirts and the flexi is amazing. I felt like a butterfly or a mermaid while wearing her beautiful dresses.

Also, a new pose store is on the grid! It's Bent! by Catherine Fairport, she is selling very beautiful and artistic poses for super cheap prices, I wouldn't miss the chance to have a look at her store!

Last but not least, Calico Ingmann Creations is having 4 hairstyles 50% off this week (till Sunday), it means 100L the pack. You can go for a colour pack or, as I did, you can get the Calico's Picks pack, that is a sort of fatpack with the best of each colour according to the designer. I bought 3 of the 4 styles, but SL let me wear only one!

Fashion For Life - Part 1

You all surely already know about Fashion For Life, Anthea talked about it already here, so I'll try not to overwhelm you with the same info. What I want to do is explaining you my plans about blogging the event.

I have received several review copies from many generous designers, I have bought tons of stuff myself, and I'll try to show you the biggest part of them. I will post at least 2-3 entries about the fair during these days and I will try to focus my attention mainly on the donation items, that are many and very beautiful. I will also feature some regularly sold products, but the donation ones will marked with the red word "DONATION".

Last but not least, you may want to know about the hunt and the gatchas that you will find at the event, with all proceeds going to the charity. Directly from the organizers notecard:

"* What's going on with the hunt?
The hunt will feature items priced 10-100L and hidden in the shops of participating designers. All proceeds from the hunt items will go to the American Cancer Society. You can find more about the shops on our website at http://fashionforlifesl.com/forpatrons/hunt-slurls-and-hints/

* And what's with the gacha?
The gacha is a new thing this year. For anyone who doesn't know what a gacha is, it is a vendor that randomly offers one of the items in its inventory when paid--kind of like a bubble gum machine. Many of the designers opted to participate in the gacha this year, offering 6 items per vendor, all no copy/transfer so people can trade and share. Each sim will have a gacha area with gachas that were created to match the theme of the sim. All proceeds from the gachas will go to the American Cancer Society."

On a side note, there are 9 sims full of great stores. The landing point is set into the store that is sponsoring the sim, so you will probably need to walk a bit. Please understand sponsors paid a lot of money, so they deserve you to have a look at their spots even though you're looking for something else. Just follow the red arrows to go to the pointed items! In case it didn't work, here's a list of where each store is.
Last but not least, the sims are awesome and I really hope you will be able to enjoy them. Low lag outfits will help you about that!

Roleplay and More - { SeVered GarDeN }

I am finally recovering from the horrible temperature that struck me in bed in the last days, and today I want to feature a brand that in my opinion deserves more attention: { SeVered GarDeN }, owned by Berta Avro and Bubi Bolissima.
Their beautiful works are focused mainly on the Gorean and fantasy worlds, even though lately they have started to consider mainstream fashion too, with lots of good results and responses from their clients. Last but not least, their price are very affordable, a great reason to get an awesome look without spending too much!

When I talked to Berta the first time, she told me she loves designing clothings in general, but that roleplay outfits are what allows her to unwild her imagination and that makes her happy the most, which is mainly what the same kind of thoughts I have when it's time to blog! That is why I'll show you today, together with her latest mainstream releases, some hints of her way to portray Gorean female roles.

Halloween sales!

Mystic Sky is having a 50% off sale on black and orange items, and there is also a special Halloween Gown for 100L only. Not being exactly my favourite colours, I haven't purchased anything, but if you like them it's a great chance to grab a beautiful gown for around 200L.

Hunt for red silks

A very cute store called Angelwing just released 3 new silks...and the owner was kind enough to scatter around the store 22 pair of wings, each containing a piece of the new release in red!

They are easy to find and the hunt will last until the end of the week. And here's the prize!
