L'Abel Closing Sale + Gifts & New Stuff

L'Abel is unfortunately closing its doors and everything in store is marked down to 10L, 25L, 49L and 75L. I'm showing you a small selection of the Country Chic collection, discounted too, but you can find much more and it will be really worth!

The skin I'm wearing is the latest group gift from the.oBscene, a special make up of their new skin Semiramis, available in several tones and options. The group has a joining fee. There's also a nice skin on the lucky chair in store!

Alphabet Challenge - A - Goodbye Summer

So, my first blogger challenge! It's the Alphabet Challenge, where you are supposed to create an outfit using items which names (name of the object, of the store, of the shade) start on a given letter. Rules are not very strict, so you have some degree of freedom, and pose is not a must.

Project FUR Japan

I have two cats, Merlin and Madam Mim (yes, like the Sword in the Stone characters).
I live in a big city, and during my childhood I had never had any animal. So, when my family decided to adopt a kitten, I was confused and I wasn't sure about my feelings. I said okay, but I don't want him to jump on my bed and such things.
Now, Merlin sleeps with me, purring all the time. And sometimes, when she doesn't sleep in my mother's room, Madam Mim joins him laying on my pillow, just above my head.

This is just a very small sample about how a furry ball can change your life. And that is why I couldn't overlook an event dedicated to them.

Project FUR Japan is a fund raiser for the animals that lost their human friends during the tragic earthquake and tsunami. You will find all the technical info, including the first receipt of the donation, on the official blog. I will share only this video, that touched half world...I had already watched it before the news of the SL event reached me. See how loyal and caring our furry friends can be.

Skin Fair 2011 [part #2] - Italian Pride!

The Skin Fair 2011 is an event involving the biggest part of the skin stores in Second Life. Martina gave you all the details here.

This year my country, Italy, celebrates the 150th anniversary of its unification. I won't annoy you talking about politics and similar stuff, I just want to let my Italian pride come out for some moments, because so often what happens here makes me wish so strongly to live elsewhere.

Pididdle, together with the other stores of the Existence sim, set up The Isle of Misfits Toys Shoppe, a cute shop with transferable items you can buy as a gift for your friends. It's definately worth a visit, full of beautiful and cheap things and you can feel Christmas in the air. Pididdle put out a teaser of their next releases in 3 colours, the De L'Hiver Sweater, that I'm wearing in red, my favourite, 150L.

Xmas All Around

Awww ok I must confess I'm starting to feel the Christmas mood, lol. In my country, tomorrow is the day when one should put out and decorate his Christmas tree, stores are open all day long, little Christmas markets are showing all around. I like Christmas not as a religious nor a consumer feast, but as a moment you should spend together with the people you care most, without stressing about stupid presents and just enjoying the time we can offer to others. In this super speedy world, time is the most precious thing!
