Hogwarts Advice!

Sorry, apparently I can't help it these days! 

Since I missed the early applications and I will need to wait till they will be opened again, in the meanwhile I decided to focus on the appearence of my character. Going through a lot of issues, including SL totally breaking the shape I made her and forcing me to create another one, in the end I'm still doubtful about one of the most important things: her skin! I've been gathering demos from, seriously, *everywhere* and spent several nights trying them on, but I'm in a real impasse.

The Hogwarts: Your Story sim is open to the public everyday from 6PM to 9AM SLT, so you can visit and check the amazing building even though it's still under construction.

The sim is also hosting a small fair where you can get amazing themed items for your roleplay. 

I bought a lot of stuff in different moments and forgot to write down all the prices. But I can tell everything is quite affordable, besides a couple of exceptions, and many useful items like crests are freebies (which allows you to convert non-roleplay outfits in Hogwarts uniforms). 

I put together my looks using mainly items from the fair and observing the stunning genius of Anya Ohmai, who created 16 different avatars according to House, sex and age. Chapeau! Don't miss her post, it's simply amazing.

Seriously, I've been drooling on their blogs for days.

Winter is a bit too grown up for Hogwarts, I'm still working on a younger (and shorter) shape though, so she will be modeling Ravenclaw uniforms for us today.

BOOM & Cheapies

During the Black Friday annual sale at the Existence sim, the biggest surprise for me was the beautiful store BOOM. I was really struck by the quality and the peculiar style, above all of the latest releases, someway vintage, elegant and kawaii at the same time, style that fits also my tall avi, while usually cute dresses on her looks rather ridiculous.
Let me show you my favourite items in store! Please note that the capes are made of sculpted parts only, no system layers, besides a tattoo layer that will make your breasts magically disappear under the clothings without having to adjust them painfully.
